2016 and before
Before the formation of the Kansas City Foundation, Dr. Mark Hamlin did a presentation for the Greater KC PF Support Group for September Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness month.
2017

September is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness month. To increase awareness in our area, Mark Hamblin lit up Union Station in September 2017, in blue and green -- the colors representing Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Fundraising Efforts
In September 2017, our team organized a t-shirt fundraiser where all proceeds were donated to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. This was the beginning of the KCFPF! In the future, we hope to keep some of the funds raised in our area to support the KCFPF.

In October 2018, The Kansas City Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis was officially designated as non-profit organization and charity.
